When you see deeper, you see narrower -- becoming error prone.

Our limited attention if often sucked into great depth of a given issue. The advantage: new revelations, uncovering hidden insight. Alas, our vision then becomes narrow, the deep-drilled issue looms out of proportion. We act on its dictate without the proper perspective of where it fits in the persistent reality in which we live.
Our mental pre occupation guides our action. Lack of perspective translates to lack of wisdom -- errors, mistakes. Much as we don't say "Don't Drink!", we say "Don't Drink and Drive", so we don't say "Don't seek deep", we say "Don't seek deep and drive!"
Before a major decision return to the big picture.
